about the upcoming 
June 3rd Primary Election?

 

The following information will help

 

Tuesday, June 3rd the Primary Election will be held in Leonia to elect
2 Council Candidates & 12 Democratic Municipal Committee Members (DMC)

Two Council candidates will go on to compete in the November General election.

A male and a female from each of our 6 Leonia Districts will be elected for the DMC.
The Democratic Municipal Committee Candidates, upon election, will immediately take office in June.

Candidates representing the current Leonia DMC will be listed on the voting ballot in
Column 1 under The Democratic Committee of Bergen County
The DMC candidates will appear in the same row as Senator Cory Booker.

The DMC members are the party’s grass roots representatives in each of their election districts. Their primary responsibilities are to select candidates for Mayor and Council and to provide information or assistance to any voter who needs it.

May 13, 2014 is the last opportunity to register to vote for the upcoming Primary Election.
