Alan Winters and his wife Andrea have lived in Leonia for 24 years. They have 3 sons, Michael, Jeffrey and Danny who have all been educated through the Leonia School system.
Alan completed his formal education with a degree in Political Science and Urban Studies from New York University. After a period of working for various political candidates he joined the family seafood business in Jersey City, New Jersey. Twelve years ago the business became part of The Chefs Warehouse, Bronx NY. The company has since expanded nationally and Alan currently serves as the National Seafood Director.
A member of the Leonia Economic Development Committee, Alan is committed to seeing the town implement a major re-development project to increase ratables and maintain the economic vitality of the community.
