An independent graphic designer with her own business since 1980, she also managed the family-owned Rialto Theatre in Ridgefield Park, a cultural center in its selection of important films, until it was sold in 2008.
Aviva has been engaged in numerous volunteer activities in Leonia. Actively involved with the Home and School organization for 12 years, she volunteered in various capacities, while also serving as treasurer for Leonia AYSO soccer for the first 5 years of its existence in Leonia. For the past 10 years, she has designed the community calendar.
