Steve served on the Planning Board and the Recreation Commission for a total of eight years, and served as an assistant and head basketball coach at St. John’s for 12 years.
Steve’s personal and professional life is characterized by a commitment to promote better understanding, overcome differences and surmount interpersonal problems. This profound belief is what Steve wants to bring to the Democratic Municipal Committee. It is of paramount importance to Steve that government by the people, and for the people of Leonia be based on open communication, reflecting the ideas of many, not a select few.
Steve and Jeanne have three children. All are graduates of Leonia High School. Ryan is in his orthopedic residency at Georgetown, Elizabeth is a nurse in the Pediatric ICU at Montefiore Medical Center and Chris, the youngest, is currently a junior in college.
